GRANDPARENTS DAY

Today, we give thanks for the grandparents and elders who have helped shape our faith and guide our steps. Like Timothy, who learned from Lois and Eunice (2 Timothy 1:5), may we honor the ones who planted seeds of faith in us.

CHURCH PICNIC!

Please join us for our picnic Next Sunday, September 20th immediately following worship. The picnic will be in the dining room. The Diaconate and Trustees will supply the meat and beverages, and our church members will be asked to bring the side dishes and disserts. Please come and enjoy the good food, camaraderie, and casual conversation on the life of our church and what is yet to come!

2027 STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN

"THERE OUR HEARTS WILL BE"

The 2027 Stewardship Campaign is underway! This past week, a letter and commitment card (through which you can pledge your financial support to the work of Christ in this church) were mailed to members and friends. If you did not receive a copy and would like one, please call the office. We ask that you return the commitment card by Thursday, October 1st.

Wanted! - your old glasses

Do you have old prescription glasses that are no longer being used? Jane Elsasser is collecting them to donate to the Lions Club. There will be a basket in the Chapel to collect your unwanted eye-glasses during the month of September.

Tuesday @ Two - Small Group Discussions: Please join us on Tuesday, September 22nd to "catch-up" after the break. We will briefly share in the spiritual practice of Visio divina. If you are unfamiliar with "divine seeing" this gathering presents a great opportunity to learn more; treats will be provided. In addition, information will be shared on the topic chosen for our fall 6-week session that will begin on Tuesday, October 13th. We meet on Tuesdays at 2:00pm in Fellowship Hall.
